How We Got Started
In 2004, internationally-known Christian psychiatrist and author Dr. Frank Minirth (founder of Minirth-Meier Clinic) began looking for a new way to serve patients who came to his clinic. Minirth identified the concept of Life Coaching as a possible solution.
What Happened Next
As Minirth began developing the early curriculum and training programs, he engaged Rodney Love to recruit life coaches and manage the process. Soon after, Minirth and Love shared the coaching vision with Dr. Don Hawkins, former president of Southeastern Bible College. Hawkins began discussions with Minirth, Love, and Don Sapaugh (certified Life Coach and founding CEO of Rapha Christian Treatment Centers) about the potential to take this life coaching concept beyond the clinic.
2018
Where We Are Today
In 2018, Love and Hawkins formalized a new organization and began the research and development of what would become their proprietary life coach training program.
